The Happiness Inquiry

A teacher's quest to cultivate happy habits in her students

Greetings, middle schoolers!

Yes, that includes 5th graders going into 6th grade. 😉

I failed to mention one very important thing in my first post. The number one reason I’m writing this blog is so you guys, the Pulaski middle schoolers, can keep up with my adventures and even comment and tell me about any that you are having back in Chicago! We should all have an awesome summer, wherever we are, and I think we might have even more fun if we make a point of telling others about it. It’s sort of like reflecting, but on good stuff that has happened.

So, come on! Leave comments–first name, last initial only please–and I will do my best to respond. Believe it or not, I will miss you guys while I’m away. 🙂

I am a middle school special education teacher in Chicago. I was fortunate enough to receive a Fund for Teachers grant that allows me to spend a month in Denmark, considered to be the happiest place on earth. I hope to use my experience to inspire my students to make choices that will increase their personal sense of well being.
